FLAUNT IT

As a fun filled Saturday ended, Sunday morning swiftly followed bringing with it sunshine and bitter cold... but that didn’t stop us. Billabong had brought us “FLAUNT IT”.

Billabong presented this ALL GIRLS rail jam and slope style contest for the second year in a row at Martock. The contest not only attracted local girls, but some from Cape Breton and New Brunswick as well. The day wore on while the ladies threw themselves onto rails and off of jumps, bruising knees and cracking heads but still somehow making it up the hill for one more run...
It was so great listening to girls push and cheer each-other on to get the confidence to land that last trick. Everyone who participated rode hard and still managed to walk/limp away with a smile.

But the ladies who stomped the landings and even left a little blood, walked away with some great prizes. And the results are;
SLOPESTYLE
1st Kimberly Sutherland
2nd Dallas
3rd Sarah Payzant
4th Anne Gilbert
5th Emily Ernst

BEST TRICK RAIL JAM
1st Kimberly Sutherland
2nd Sarah Paysant
3rd Emily Ernst

BILLIE GIRLS PRIZE (under 16)
went to one of our own Pro Girls Christina Retson!

And an honourable mention goes to Danielle from Cape Breton for ripping it up.

I wasn’t able to take as many photos as I had hoped too, but I did manage to get a few goodies...
Here's Chissy in her beautiful yellow Billabong coat making the final announcements.A big thank you again goes out to the judges and and our gorgeous annoucers for their participation on sunday! And our judges still marked each run with frozen fingers...Jenna and I looking a little cold.Michelle was still smiling at the end... sort of.And Michelle from New Brunswick had her biggest fan with her the enitre day. Thanks for making the drive ladies! Some cold spectators. And we thought it might be a good idea to do a group shot... (minus little Michelle
plus our honorary Pro Girl Annie Gilbert)

Thanks again to all who participated in any shape or form. It was a great day!

And we're looking forward to next year already...

VZ's Most Wanted

Snowed In was a lot of fun this past Saturday.  VZ was present throughout the day taking mugshot's.  Check out some of the ladies we caught throughout the day:

Annie stormed into the local Taco Bell on Friday night with a loaded pistol and a face mask, She then screamed " Give me all your taco's".  The cashier resisted and Annie knocked him out with the end of her pistol.  When police finally caught up with her in front of Pro Uptown she told police the she had the "munchies".

These ladies run Windsor.  A motorcycle enthusiast, a DJ, and a computer prodigy  these ladies have a lockdown on the Windsor club scene.  They were busted stealing German bootleg dance tracks from a high profile E.U. based DJ.  With over $2 million in pending charges, they were forced to shut down Club Moscow in Downtown Windsor.

Natalie was pulled over during a routine traffic stop in Dartmouth.  The police became a little suspicious of all the "meaowing" coming from the trunk and decided to search the car.  The police came to find out that she was stealing cats in Windsor and dropping them off in Dartmouth.
This badass started stealing her brothers G.I. Joe's at the age of 2 and selling them at day care. She started jacking cars at the age of 3, and was recently busted at a local chopshop.  Stoked to be out on her own, she now plans to run things from the inside till she gets out in 2015.

Once a sweet, wholesome girl, Sarah became obsessed with new wave cinema.  She cut her dark locks, died her hair, became fluent in Spanish and changed her name to Esperanza.  She started robbing banks to maintain her lavish lifestyle.  She was busted after a high speed chase on her 1965 Cherry Red Vespa.
This girl was busted steeling toonies out of her grandma's wallet.  He parents we so pissed that they brought her in.  She'll be spending the next 10 years in a high security boarding school in country.

Melanie gets little out of hand when she drinks.  This past Friday she smashed a beer bottle over a guys head at the Palace who tried to grind her while texting another chick.  More pissed that most of the guys were drinking light beer, she quickly fled the scene before her anger got the best of her.  As you can tell she's a little embarresed.

These girls were brought in on some indecent exposure charges.  While changing out of their wetsuits at the beach they like to flash cars driving by.

Emily got pulled over in downtown Halifax.  Already busted with a D.U.I.  she got a little out of hand and assullted two officers.   She was thrown in the drunk tank for the night and continued to scream "give me a drink of whisky" with a slur throughout the night.
These girls recently quit school and moved out on their own.  They started a militant group called the Pro Girls.  When they are not snowboarding at Martock they can be found robing candy stores and selling Sweedish Berries to the locals outside the mall.  We are stoked we finally caught these badasses.  I think everyone in Windsor will finally get a goodnights sleep.

"SNOWED IN"

This past weekend was the first anual ladies weekend at Martock!

"Snowed In" was a great success presented by Billabong and Pro Girl, as the ladies took over the hill, for a fun filled day.

The back deck was a colourful array of tents and touques, with games and activites going on all around.

The day started off alittle cloudy with chances of rain, but turned into a mild spring riding day, perfect for checking out all of the great tents!

Jenna and Michelle made some great peppermint hot chocolate for all who wished to drink some, while they manned the Pro Girl tent...

Annie took care of the dangerous stuff, dodging snowballs left and right at one of the games.

Chrissy took care of her Billabong tent, beckoning the brave to try her bean bag toss to win a prize. Which was way harder then I originally thought... (or maybe I just have bad aim). Kate was helping Chrissy out handing out the well deserved prizes.

The bright Burton tent was run by Steve and Natalie, answering any Burton related questions and giving out free wax!

Pete was the glue that brings skiing and snowboarding together as he demostrated how the heating system can work in boots! Mark and Dean had the Von Zipper "Most Wanted" tent busy all day, taking mug shots of both young and old. The Nixon tent showcased their new headphones, for our listening pleasure.
The Adrenaline Divas also had a tent which had curious ladies popping in and out all day. Thank you to Andrea who was our Red Bull DJ for providing the jams for the day.
(even with her frozen fingers!)

During the day I snapped some shots, Melanie and Natalie looked oh so nice in the star glasses that were a hit through-out the day.

I caught the Pro Girls doing some streching and spins before the morning ride...

While everyone else did a group streching session with Christy from "Studio in Essence"!

Some of the Pro Girls were kind enough to stop running for a moment and pose for a picure.

HAHAHA and Dean looked so good with stars in his eyes wearing the VZ moustache touque.

Michelle looking very tough (and alittle cold) selling some Pro Girl appearl.

Melaine giving out the cameras for the Pro Girl scavenger hunt.

Oh hello Pete!

Christy also did some group Hula Hooping, which brought out the best and the worst in some of us!

Dean broke it down with some great dance moves, booging all day long!

Oh Helen you look so impressed!

Oh miss Emily, thanks for the great times! You will be missed greatly.

Just want to say thank you again to all participants. "Snowed In" wouldn't have happened without your help and generosity.

If you have any pictures or videos, send them to us and we'll post them! Send them to
